Job Description

A full-semester position is available for an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to serve students from Pre-K through 12th grade in California City, CA. This role is designed for a licensed California educator dedicated to supporting the physical education needs of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver adaptive physical education curriculum tailored to students with varying abilities.
• Collaborate with K-12 staff to develop individualized education plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting activities to meet individual needs.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid California teaching credential in Physical Education.
• Experience working with students requiring adaptive physical education.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families.
• Knowledge of K-12 physical education standards and adaptive teaching strategies.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Contract term from August 25, 2025, through June 11, 2026.
