Wasaya is seeking an Aircraft Cleaner to join our team. As an Aircraft Cleaner, you will play a vital role in the cleanliness of the company aircraft and the building facilities. Job Summary

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of company aircraft and the building facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Vacuum and wipe the aircraft interior and exterior daily as required.
• Wash exteriors as directed.
• Assist with moving aircraft as required.
• Bring any damage or defect on the aircraft to the attention of the Crew Chief.
• Order any required cleaning supplies needed to perform duties.
• Foster a healthy working environment and promote a positive climate within the workplace.
• Perform and uphold Wasaya’s Customer Care Commitments to both internal and external customers.
• Any other related duties as assigned

Minimum Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work in a team environment, as well as unsupervised.
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
• The ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
• Previous airline experience is an asset.
• Experience with and/or knowledge of First Nations Organizations is an asset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or move up to 75lbs.
• Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
