Job Description Department: Art Location: Metropolitan Campus Reports To: Unit Operations Specialist III Recruitment Type: External/Internal Requisition ID: req6540 Employment Type: Part-Time Support Staff Union Position: Non-Union Work Schedule: Work in studio art classes based on need Summary Sustains nude and clothed professional portrait poses for art students to observe anatomy and structure to compose artistic drawings and/or paintings. Essential Functions Sustains a variety of both clothed and nude poses for art students. Adapts to a range of portrait poses and instructor direction. Professionally interacts with students. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma (or equivalent). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Basic knowledge of fundamental artistic modeling concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to appropriately, sensitively, and professionally interact with instructors and students. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings as needed. Sensitivity to respond to community needs. Competencies Adaptability, Collaboration, Quality of Work. Service Focus, Communication. Time Utilization, Continuous Improvement. Physical Demands / Working Conditions Work is performed in a classroom studio environment. Work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated. Employee will sustain seated, standing, reclining poses for long periods. Employee will perform quick, energetic poses. Work may require walking/standing and traveling to meetings and conferences outside workplace. Compensation Part-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, Set Rate of Pay: $14.00 per hour.
