Job Description

The Corporate and Funding Technology Division in Tokyo is responsible for a large and diverse number of applications serving both global and local business divisions (e.g. Equity Fixed Income Financing Trader Support Group) Enterprise Data Group & Operations). The group interacts with Network Groups Enterprise Infrastructure and the Production Management team to set up connectivity and support settlement & trading to exchanges and settlement institutions primarily located in Asia.
The role involves the utilization of Agile programming & DevOps practices to continuously deliver technical solutions efficiently with prime considerations to stability resilience security and capacity to a variety of critical business functions including but not limited to market gateway connectivity regulatory reporting financial settlement & client specific reporting.
As a developer you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with the various business units enabling you to develop a strong partnership that ultimately delivers best in class solutions leveraging the latest technology advancements and thinking. Required Skills:
> Professional development experience: 3 years
> Java (Spring)
> JavaScript Framework ( Ext JS/Angular JS)
> Unix/Linux development environment (including basic devops concepts)
> Relational databases (Sybase and DB2 preferred)
> Scripting Language ( Perl Shell scripting )
> Network topology ( firewalls )
> Infrastructure virtualization ( servers and NFS)
> Fast learner ( there will always be something new to be learnt )
> IT development background
> The knowledge of financial business (advantage)
> Strong communication skills (verbal and written skill in English but an advantage if can speak Japanese as well).
