Cloud Security Consultant (Azure)

📍 Location: 14 Carlton (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, Tue–Thu)

🕒 Contract: 12 months | Start: ASAP

We’re seeking a Cloud Security Consultant with strong experience in Azure-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our Infrastructure & Operations team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of secure IAM solutions, working closely with Security Architecture and Operations teams to support a secure, scalable cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud IAM Management (Azure Focus)

• Configure, maintain, and support IAM platforms using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) .
• Deploy IAM integrations across Azure, including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) .
• Design and optimize RBAC models aligned with Azure hierarchies.
• Implement monitoring and reporting solutions using Defender for Identity and Log Analytics .
• Support identity-related incident response, root cause analysis, and audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).

Asset & Service Management

• Provide advanced support for IAM-related service requests and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT and SOC teams for resolution and escalation.
• Manage provisioning, de-provisioning, and privileged access workflows.
• Support integration of IAM tools with asset management and compliance systems.

Continuous Improvement

• Enhance and automate IAM processes using Microsoft Graph API, Logic Apps, and Power Automate .
• Identify opportunities to improve security governance, lifecycle management, and access automation.
• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base content.

Tools & Technologies

• IAM & Security: Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Protection
• Monitoring & SIEM: Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Identity, Azure Monitor
• Governance & Compliance: Azure Policy, Access Reviews, Entitlement Management
• Automation & Documentation: Microsoft Graph API, Power Automate, Logic Apps, SharePoint, Confluence

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity .
• 5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on IAM, security operations, or network security .
• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and SCADA systems in critical infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with high-availability, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP , Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator ,
• Azure Security Engineer Associate , CCNP/CCIE Security , or equivalent.
