SUMMARY
The Café + Catering Manager is an experienced, talented, and highly motivated individual who is passionate about creating a memorable food and beverage experience for our guests through hands on leadership and ongoing team member training. This individual will Lead the café team and be responsible for implementing and organizing all activities in the restaurant to maintain high food quality standards, high guest service standards, high cleanliness standards. The Restaurant Lead will be creating and maintaining the ethos of the café environment influencing an interactive and community vibe. This role combines operational organization, service excellence, and team development to create memorable, wellness-centered dining experiences — while bringing a spirit of salesmanship and initiative to grow and develop our in-house catering program.
Essential Functions
• Responsible leading shifts that can consistently execute great food and service.
• Responsible for the restaurant adhering to all company guidelines to maintain a health
promoting operation, high food quality, and high guest satisfaction.
• Hires, trains, and supervises the hourly team members.
• Utilize Toast POS across front and back end to manage menus, small retail offerings, monitor sales data, PMix, and generate actionable reports that support daily operations and catering growth.
• Has an eye to recognize and proactively assist in addressing liability, risk, and compliance opportunities.
• Partners with Executive Chef, F&B Lead, to grow and develop catering and event sales, opportunities, and platforms.
• Write, manage, and execute BEO, managing accountability with operational adaptability.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and policies, maintaining food, beverage, and labor cost control strategies.
• Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints
• Establishes the café teams’ presence, inspiring enthusiastic engagement and expanding menu and nutritional ingredient knowledge.
• Leads the career development of self and others by attracting and training high performing talent.
• Is actively in the operation, alongside your team, engaging with guests - creating and maintaining an ethos of continued learning and knowledge exchange, in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Love.Life from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Attendance standard for salaried exempt team members is dedicating adequate time to fulfill the duties outlined in this job description equal to, or more than 40 hours per workweek. This position is to fulfill the need for Leadership in the facility in the afternoon/evening hours.
Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the business.
