Job Title: Class B Driver (Passenger Endorsement) – Construction Shuttle Service
Location: Lambda Dr San Antonio, TX
Job Type: Full and Part time
Reports To: Transportation Supervisor / Site Manager
Pay Rate: $19.25
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class B Commercial Driver with a Passenger (P) Endorsement to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting construction personnel between designated pick-up/drop-off points and job sites in a safe and timely manner. This is a vital support role in maintaining job site efficiency and ensuring workers arrive promptly and securely.
Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a commercial passenger vehicle (such as a shuttle bus or van) to transport construction workers to and from job sites.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.
Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, or site managers regarding delays, mechanical issues, or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate daily logs and mileage records as required.
Report any incidents or accidents immediately and follow proper procedures.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) Endorsement .
Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (preferred).
Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
Familiarity with local roads and construction site environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and early morning hours.
5 am to 8:30am, 8am to 1pm, 12pm to 7pm
