Our Sales and Marketing team is currently looking for a candidate to fill the position of Communications Coordinator reporting to the Marketing Manager, the incumbent will perform a variety of tasks including content development and copywriting, event planning as well as meeting certain administrative and operational needs.

Your day-to-day

  • Communications Strategy:
    • Develop press announcement strategies and manage announcements calendar
    • Establish thought leadership strategies
    • Plan and implement paid targeted LinkedIn campaigns
  • Content Development:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create content and promotional tools
    • Update and maintain website content to ensure it is current and engaging
    • Develop and prepare sales materials to support the sales team
  • Event Planning:
    • Coordinate and organize participation in tradeshows and industry events
    • Plan and organize customer events to enhance customer engagement and loyalty
    • Manage all communications around corporate events (invitations, follow-ups, social posts, website updates)
    • Source branded merchandise, giveaways and corporate gifts
  • General Marketing Support:
    • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and sales team
    • Write campaign briefs
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing campaign development
    • All other related tasks
Your Qualifications

  • University degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline
  • The incumbent should have 3-4 years of experience working in a similar role
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Strong initiative, organizational, and planning skills
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the television, mobile, or tech industry (an asset)
  • Candidate must be allowed to travel to the United States
