Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Control Room Operator with hands-on experience in monitoring and supporting operations within a process plant, powerhouse, assembly line, factory, or similar industrial environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical awareness, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Excel to support daily reporting and operational analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and operate control room systems to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient plant operations.
Take and record accurate daily readings on all key equipment and systems.
Identify when values or indicators are trending out of range, investigate probable causes, and promptly report findings.
Perform routine checks such as verifying oil levels, observing mechanical components, and noting visible faults on generators, piping, cooling systems, and other equipment.
Communicate any abnormalities to supervisors and maintenance teams in a timely manner.
Complete Excel-based logs, reports, and tracking sheets with accuracy and consistency.
Follow operational procedures and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a control room within a process plant, powerhouse, assembly line, factory, paper mill, or similar industrial setting.
Strong technical understanding of basic mechanical systems (oil levels, pumps, piping, cooling systems, electrical indicators).
Ability to interpret system readings, identify out-of-range values, and understand potential root causes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for daily logs and reporting.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
