Job Description

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Responding to high-severity events within SLAs
  • Participate in Data Center power & cooling events
  • Break-fix of servers and network devices
  • Troubleshooting of network connections
  • Coordinating and building relationships with various Data Center teams Interact with third party vendors & contractors
  • Seeking out ways to improve yourself and the processes and systems with which you work
  • Contribute to the development of other team members
  • Helping technicians bring in the racks to the data center
  • Cabling may be needed

Must Haves:

  • Need a car to go between sites
  • Reliability status i.e. should be within Canada for 5 years and have ability to get clearance
  • 1 - 3 year (Hardware networking skills/ entry level)
  • Hardware - troubleshoot CPU, maintenance on break fix activity, motherboard, hard drive, memory, power shelfs (PSU/ power supplies) maintain and replace hardware
  • Software - Windows (Linux is a plus) scripting is a plus.
  • Bilingual - Fluent in French and English is needed. (understanding and communicate)
  • Good written and oral skills (follow workflows)
  • Thinking outside of the box to troubleshoot a situation
  • Open to weekends/ rotational shift.

Pay range is $18-$21/hr without Benefits.
