Duties & Responsibilities: Provides support to the Maintenance Department and Technicians (e.g. vehicle washing, vehicle or facility cleaning, vehicle fueling, facility maintenance and repair etc.) in accordance with established schedules. Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor. Records time and materials used for each assignment. Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned. Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse. Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager Other duties as assigned Company name is: Durham School Services Qualifications A minimum of 1 to 3 years truck or automotive repair experience Minimum recommended hand tools for Class III Mechanic High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with diesel and gasoline systems We offer medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance coverage, holiday pay, and PTO accrual.
