Job Responsibilities:

• Manage system requirements (e.g., WRC management for package displays, EMEA/international labeling provision, including Apple Care and SSR)
• Data collection for material/product evaluation: Collection of required documentation through Apple's internal systems or in collaboration with other departments (e.g., packaging, chemicals)
• Coordinating tests and managing test reports as needed (e.g., packaging repulpability, recyclability testing, material testing). Activities include creating tickets for the start of the exam,
• This may include updating and managing certification spreadsheets, requesting samples, and more
• Improved data visualization and reporting (e.g., Tableau dashboards, slides, JIRA, etc.)
• Conduct basic product risk assessments under the guidance of FTE (full-time employees)
• Conduct training for suppliers, FATp, other departments, and internal teams (e.g., product quality planning (PQP) requirements, material certification processes)
• Conducting supply chain audits and quality assurance checks as needed (e.g., PQP planning)
• Work with suppliers/FATp/DR to resolve compliance issues (e.g., test report mapping issues)
• Preparation, collection and maintenance of documentation for technical studies and certification (e.g. collection and updating of disassembly documents, energy-related documents, country-specific data for registration, UPC codes) / SOW preparation. Update environmental management system documentation as needed
• Track and manage project issues, tasks, and deliverables, and accelerate completion by working with ET DRI. Clarification of risks and issues related to project timelines and deliverables (e.g.
• ECO label tracking checklist reviews, product report discrepancies, environmental management system document changes, test schedule delays, etc.)
• Identify, develop, and improve data collection spreadsheets/systems for increased efficiency

Job Qualification :

• At least 5 years of working experience in supplier or vendor management
• Excellent project management skills and proven communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in materials engineering, chemistry, environmental engineering, or related field
• Experience in environmental regulation and compliance management in electronic product systems
• Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action plans with suppliers
• Frequent business trips in Japan and the ability to work in a factory environment
