About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its dynamic nonprofit organization. The successful candidate will be the chief executive officer, responsible for strategic leadership, operational oversight, and the successful execution of the Center's programs and services. This role demands a visionary and hands-on leader who can advocate for the arts, foster community relationships, and ensure the financial and organizational sustainability of the Center. Key responsibilities include program management, strategic planning, board relations, community engagement, public relations, event and facility scheduling, grant writing, and development, as well as operations and administration. The Executive Director will also be the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and the organization, and will be expected to stay informed of trends in performing arts, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have a proven track record in nonprofit management, arts administration, or a related field. Essential skills include strong communication, leadership, and public relations abilities, as well as experience in grant writing and fundraising. The role requires a candidate with superior management abilities, including budget planning, and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization. The Executive Director will be expected to be the face of the company, representing it at various community and governmental meetings, and will play a pivotal role in maintaining the Center's master calendar, overseeing the maintenance and improvement of the theater and associated facilities, and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for all. Professional development and industry awareness are also key aspects of the role, with the expectation that the candidate will stay informed of best practices and foster ongoing learning and innovation.
