About the Role:

A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a highly capable FP&A professional to join its Japan affiliate. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic financial planning and performance management across the organization. You will work closely with both local and global stakeholders to drive insights and enable data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities for the Japan business.
• Partner with commercial, medical, and operational teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders through robust financial modeling and reporting.
• Ensure alignment with global FP&A processes and timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders.
• Experience in a multinational environment preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; SAP or similar ERP experience is a plus.
