Supply Chain Manager – Electrical Manufacturing

Permanent | Full-Time | On-Site

A leading North American manufacturer of engineered electrical systems —serving the power generation and industrial automation industries for over five decades—is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its growing leadership team. Reporting to the Business Unit General Manager , this role offers the opportunity to shape end-to-end supply chain operations within a high-mix, engineered-to-order manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Business Unit leadership to drive excellence across procurement, materials planning, logistics, and production scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all supply chain functions including sourcing, purchasing (direct and indirect), materials planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier performance aligned with business goals.
  • Implement and optimize Lean material management processes such as Kanban, pull systems, Min-Max, and JIT.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to plan demand and align capacity with customer requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement, cost reduction, and a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Provide strategic insights through metrics and reporting to support operational decision-making.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems , Microsoft Office, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and drive results across departments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Canadian work authorization (no sponsorship available).
