Our client, a well-established firm, is seeking a Segregated Funds Administrator to join their investment operations team. About the Role

As a Segregated Funds Administrator, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations and data integrity of the firm’s segregated (customized) investment portfolios. This position ensures that all transactions, reconciliations, and reports are completed accurately and on time.

This is a hands-on, back-office operations role that requires a high level of accuracy, accountability, and collaboration. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with data, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation and posting of portfolio transactions (cash movements, dividends, fees, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and timely reconciliations for custodian accounts on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Support trade settlement processes and liaise with custodians and brokers as needed
• Prepare and deliver internal and client reporting packages, including monthly account reconciliations
• Generate ad hoc reports and summaries for portfolio managers and internal teams
• Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with internal standards
• Provide backup and workflow support to other team members as required

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or securities settlement
• Strong working knowledge of Advent APX/REX or equivalent portfolio accounting systems
• Excellent Excel and data management skills (experience handling large datasets and reconciliations)
• Understanding of securities, trade settlements, and custodial processes
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working in a collaborative environment
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) considered an asset
