Job Description

Our client is a distinguished multinational investment management company, overseeing approximately $40 billion in assets under management across its expansive network of 10 global offices. They are currently seeking a driven and enthusiastic Investment Operations Associate to bolster their esteemed Client Services team located in Vancouver.

Roles & Responsibilities

1) Proactively communicate with institutional and retail clients and other stakeholders.

  • Provide comprehensive information about the funds.
  • Participate in client onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with Know-Your-Client/Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
  • Maintain accurate client databases and activity records.

2) Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate closely with global client service teams, operations units, and business entities.

  • Ensure exceptional service delivery to clients.

3) Take ownership of critical responsibilities throughout the transaction cycle of the funds.

  • Verify client transactions thoroughly.
  • Validate sensitive client information.

4) Drive impactful projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and introducing innovative solutions.

  • Collaborate with the dedicated technology team to implement improvements.

  • Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.

  • 1-3 years of professional experience, including internships or co-op placements, demonstrating success and progression.
  • Preferred: Interest in the investment industry, enrollment in or completion of the CFA or CPA program (advantageous but not mandatory).
