Janitor – Part-time

The Arbutus Club has been a landmark in Vancouver since 1964. Today, we are a modern recreation complex with first class food and beverage services. We are looking for a Part-time Janitor with availability to work Monday - Friday 3 PM - 7PM or as scheduled. Must have flexible availability, including occasional early morning or night shifts.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated spaces both inside and outside the Club daily, including hallways, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, and the parking lot/parkade
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and restrooms as needed
• Maintain and stock supply rooms and restrooms as needed
• Other related duties and tasks as assigned by Management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Building Service Worker Certification or equivalent experience
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to perform the full range of janitorial tasks and responsibilities as required by the position.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience is required
• Reliable transportation is required
