A bit more about you

The purpose of the Education Business is crystalizing Creativity for All among Japanese students for their future success. Our mission is to put our AI first applications in the hands of students and drive usage to equip them for the future of work. As an Education Strategic Development Specialist youll be part of the Japan Education Business Team and will work closely with the global Education Strategic Development team. Your primary sphere of inuence will be among academic leaders and executive administrators within the higher education sector. You will drive student usage in accounts engage key persons define pedagogic initiatives coordinate internal and external resources. Your critical metric will be the monthly active user (MAU) of defined Adobe tools in the target account.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert with higher education institutions to present Adobe solutions to academic leaders convey in the educational and institutional benets of Adobe Express and Adobe Creative Cloud in teaching and learning.
• Youll work to evolve and tailor our value proposition so it resonates with our audience supported by research executive presence thought leadership product innovation and your own experience in the education industry.
• Collaborate with the global Education Strategic Development team or other relevant teams pro-actively and regularly providing valuable product and industry insights that can ensure messaging and roadmap priorities are constantly lockstep with market feedback.
• Lead the completion of customer-facing events to strengthen Adobes influence within the education sector.
• Establish a presence for Adobe at higher education industry events that will enhance Adobes market perception and thought leadership among the key decision makers.
• Develop and manage strategic engagements and collaborations with inuential industry associations.
• Adhere to performance and success metrics set by the business and regularly report customer success and challenges to executive teams.

What youll have

• 8 years of experience working in or with higher education institutions such as universities or colleges is highly valuable. Extensive knowledge in Japan education market and well-established network is an advantage.
• The ideal applicant will possess a masters or Ph.D. degree in Education or a related eld underscoring their deep expertise in pedagogy.
• Proven experience in designing eective digital teaching and learning strategies curriculum development and educational assessment.
• Excellent business and technology discovery skills with ability to listen assess dissect and solve problems.
• Outstanding presentation & communication skills (both verbal and written) including storytelling. Being comfortable with C-level engagement.
• Think creatively and strategically. Willing to try new ideas without being bound by past experiences.
• Experience using Adobe Express and/or other Adobe creative tools.
• Business level of fluency both in English and Japanese.
• Able to travel to customer sites.
