What you will be doing:

  • Representing Concrete Cashmere on multiple job sites by maintaining positive relationships with Interior Designers, Site supervisors & other team members, clients, owners, landlords, consults, trades and city inspectors
  • Specialize in commercial kitchen builds, ensuring compliance- with health, safety, and mechanical codes.
  • Manage office and clinic TI projects, tailoring solutions to meet client-specific operational needs.
  • Reviewing architectural, design and engineering drawings, ensuring all specifications and regulations are followed
  • Develop estimates for projects and prepare construction contracts & quotations
  • Ensure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings and that quality standards are maintained (work with designers)
  • Develop and maintain the construction schedule
  • Overseeing and reporting schedule and schedule changes with the site superintendent
  • Communicating changes in schedule and negotiated job site changes to clients
  • Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, schedules, and reports
  • Updating projects daily to clients and project coordinator
  • Quality inspections from time to time on site
  • Lead and mentor the team to complete project successfully
  • Maintains, tracks and reports all financial aspects of project including forecasts, billings and sub-contractor invoices
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Ensuring staff, sub-contractors, site superintendent are hitting deadlines and are on schedule
  • Working closely with Site Superintendent to maintain construction timelines

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma construction management, construction technology, engineering, architecture, or similar (PMP certification is an asset)
  • 5+ years experience in Project Management (Design or Construction background an asset)
  • Proven experience working on commercial tenant improvement projects
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, mechanical systems, and commercial construction practices.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications (elevations, sections, and details)
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities through effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent client service and communication skills; ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada, and on-site at our Vancouver office
  • Must have a valid BC Drivers’ License and vehicle
