Job Title: Medical Records Reviewer
Location: Mesa, AZ | On-site | Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hour (based on experience)

We’re hiring a Medical Records Reviewer for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a reputable medical organization in Mesa, AZ . This is a great entry-level position for candidates looking to get their foot in the door in the medical or billing space!

Schedule & Benefits

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Location: On-site in Mesa, AZ

Responsibilities

• Review and organize patient medical records and documentation
• Ensure all records are complete, accurate, and properly categorized
• Assist the billing team by preparing and providing necessary medical documentation
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Support basic clerical and administrative functions within the billing department

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Life-sciences
• Associate degree/certification or experience as Medical Assistant, medical billing/coding, or a related field
• This science background would help the reviewer better comprehend laboratory tests and related clinical documentation, improving accuracy in retrieving relevant medical records
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Prior experience in a medical office or with medical records is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
