Job Title: Medical Science Liaison

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Science Liaison to join their team in Japan. As an MSL, you will serve as a scientific expert and liaison between our company and healthcare professionals, providing accurate and unbiased scientific information about our products and therapeutic areas. Your role will be crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Scientific Expertise: Provide scientific expertise and insights on our products, therapeutic areas, and relevant medical topics to healthcare professionals, including physicians, researchers, and other stakeholders.
2. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and researchers in your territory, fostering trust and credibility through scientific exchange.
3. Scientific Communication: Deliver scientific presentations, respond to medical inquiries, and engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions, ensuring accurate and compliant communication of scientific information.
4. Therapeutic Area Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific developments and advancements in your assigned therapeutic areas, providing insights and updates to internal stakeholders.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure alignment and integration of scientific strategies and initiatives.
6. Insight Generation: Gather and disseminate scientific insights, trends, and competitor information to internal stakeholders, supporting evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning.
7. Compliance: Ensure all scientific interactions and communications comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry codes, maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity and ethics.
Requirements:
1. Medical Background: Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or a related field (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.).
2. Clinical Experience: Prior experience in clinical practice, research, or a related field is highly desirable.
3. Scientific Expertise: Strong understanding of scientific principles, research methodologies, and therapeutic areas relevant to our products.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
5. Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
6. Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
