Job Title: Mobile Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Engineering Manager to lead our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality mobile applications, while fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mobile engineers (iOS, Android, or cross-platform).
• Define and execute the mobile engineering roadmap in alignment with product and business goals.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver features.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of mobile applications.
• Establish and maintain best practices for mobile development, including code quality, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development for team members.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance mobile development processes.
• Drive technical architecture discussions and decision-making for mobile platforms.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in mobile development (iOS/Android/Cross-Platform) and at least 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong experience with mobile programming languages (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java, or Flutter/React Native).
• Strong experience with APIs & Frameworks
• Strong experience with Performance & Testing
• Experience managing and scaling high-performing mobile teams.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns, performance optimization, and app lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud srvices and mobile backend integration (AWS, Firebase, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Understanding of mobile analytics, A/B testing, and user engagement metrics.
• Open-source contributions or active participation in mobile engineering communities.
