Job Summary: We are looking to hire a National VP to lead and grow an Executive Search Line of Business across Canada. We’re looking for experienced leaders from the executive search industry who want to build a dynamic, growing, and winning team! This is a hybrid position and will be based at either our Toronto or Montreal office locations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership and serve as a catalyst for recruitment innovation and continuous improvement for the Executive Search line of business
  • Lead a team of Divisional and Provincial Directors across Canada
  • Empower high-functioning teams and work across all provinces to support this line of business performance and success
  • Foster and sustain a great place to work
  • Work with the Senior Leadership and Team to build a positive and affirming work environment
  • Support continued development of an effective hybrid workplace that supports staff effectiveness and connection in multiple locations

Recruitment Strategy and Execution

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set goals and develop plans and tactics to achieve them
  • Working with the President and Sales Leaders, to lead and execute the business strategy for Fuze HR Executive Search division for all of Canada
  • Streamline processes, implement best practices, and leverage technology to enhance efficiency
  • Prepare recruitment action plans and strategies
  • Manage recruitment activities across all provinces
  • Actively stay abreast of the external environment and competition and use these learnings to enhance the Executive Search division’s efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and service offerings
  • Use Avionte to record all recruiting activities to provide customer activity

Business Development Strategy and Execution

  • Manage the Executive Search division business sales activities across all provinces for Sales Reps and 360s
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies
  • Assist in generating and qualifying leads
  • Effectively use marketing initiatives and collateral and successfully engage new prospects
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and service offerings
  • Use Avionte to record all prospecting and account management activity

Personal Production

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain a customer database in order to attain and surpass Line of Business GP
  • Or develop and maintain a candidate database in order to attain and surpass Line of Business GP
  • A VP of a Line of Business would not be responsible for personal production if the Line of Business is achieving over $500,000 monthly GP and GP/Gross Salaries over 4

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Experience

  • Experience overseeing operations of a large recruitment line of business (ex. executive search) from the staffing industry
  • Or Track record of success growing a team and GP in a similar role on a smaller scale
  • Experience leading and mentoring divisional heads and other senior managers
  • Experience managing a budget for a business unit, ensuring financial performance
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and pivot strategies as needed

Recruitment

  • Capable of recruiting industry professionals (or a team) from previous experiences (Sales/Recruiters/360s)
  • Capable of assisting the TA team in recruiting and growing the team

Technology

  • Excellent computer skills and tech savvy
  • Proficiency (or passion to learn) advancing technology with AI and recruitment automation
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use reporting insights to drive strategic decisions

Interpersonal

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Ability to network and love meeting new people
  • Demonstrated relationships with VP and C level clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with others
  • Some travel required
