Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a flexible, detail-oriented Office Assistant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, quick learner, and team player who can balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining a commitment to customer service.
Position Summary
The Office Assistant is responsible for processing employee payroll, maintaining all required company records, and supporting the Branch Manager with daily office functions. Building and maintaining relationships with both customers and temporary employees is a key part of this role.
Responsibilities
Maintain strong communication with current and prospective customers, temporary employees, and internal staff.
Process and maintain required records, including employee and customer applications.
Assist with daily payroll and invoicing tasks.
Support recruitment efforts for temporary employees.
Ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.
Guide new applicants through the employment process, answering questions and verifying eligibility to work.
Prepare work tickets and distribute safety equipment as needed.
Process customer applications and ensure proper account setup.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with a sense of urgency.
Ability to remain composed and effective under high stress.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new programs.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
