About the Opportunity

We at Hackajob are excited to be partnering with a leading AI research lab , to hire experienced Physics professionals for a short-term, fully remote project.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your deep physics expertise to help evaluate and refine AI systems designed to reason like human experts. Your feedback will directly contribute to improving how advanced AI models understand, explain, and apply complex physics concepts.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate and provide detailed feedback on AI-generated physics content (solutions, derivations, and reasoning)
Create and assess challenging problem sets across various areas of physics
Review AI outputs for scientific accuracy, clarity, and depth
Collaborate asynchronously with researchers and engineers to enhance model performance
Ensure high academic rigor and conceptual soundness across all evaluations

What We’re Looking For

PhD (or equivalent experience) in Physics or a closely related field
Strong understanding in one or more key areas:
Classical Mechanics
Electromagnetism
Thermodynamics
Statistical Mechanics
Quantum Mechanics
Relativity
2+ years of academic or professional experience (research, teaching, publication, or applied physics)
Excellent written communication and analytical skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote, flexible, asynchronous setting

Project Details

Start date: Immediate
Duration: 1–2 months (with potential extensions)
Commitment: ~20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Location: Remote — must be based in Canada
