Randstad Canada is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients specializing in sports apparel customization & retail experience technology connecting consumers with authentic products & engaging customization experiences.
We are currently hiring for Machine Operators for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate. If you are a student on academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do general labor work, we can hire you!
Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Monday to Friday, 4:30pm-1:00am
Machine Operator Job Qualifications and Functions::
-You must have 2 years of experience with Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW
-You will be printing using exclusively Epson industrial printers, fabric sublimation, and direct to garment printers.
-You will be preparing nested artwork files and aligning files such as letters & numbers.
-You will be selecting correct PMS colors according to profiles, and getting these files ready for printing.
-You will prepare, align, and configure machinery, ink, rollers, and paper.

Responsibilities
-You will be printing using exclusively Epson industrial printers, fabric sublimation, and direct to garment printers.
-You will be preparing nested artwork files and aligning files such as letters & numbers.
-You will be selecting correct PMS colors according to profiles, and getting these files ready for printing.
-You will prepare, align, and configure machinery, ink, rollers, and paper.
-You will inspect proof sheets to evaluate the quality of printing.
-You will adjust press machinery to meet quality standards and specifications.
-QC is key: You will detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to a supervisor.
-Additional training will be provided as needed.
Qualifications
-You must have 2 years of experience with Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW
-You must be fluent in English reading and writing.
-You’re able to work in a fast paced environment.
-You’re able to work in a team environment.
-Sports background / knowledge preferred.
-Time Management: Completing orders within the stipulated time frame to ensure timely delivery to clients.
-Attention to Detail: Ability to closely follow design specifications and produce high-quality products
-You’re a dedicated candidate that takes pride in each and every project that leaves our production facility
