Project Coordinator opportunity with Developer Builder working on large-scale multifamily developments

Our client is a well-established Developer Builder with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality homes in Vancouver Lower Mainland. Known for their commitment to craftsmanship and long-term value, they specialize in wood frame multifamily construction and currently have over 2,000 units in various stages of development and construction. After a recent internal promotion, they are now seeking a Project Coordinator to join their growing team in Surrey, BC.
Your new role
As a Project Coordinator, you will be an integral part of a tight-knit, high-performing team managing large-scale wood frame multifamily developments. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will provide essential technical support throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for providing assistance with scheduling, estimating, planning, and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally this Developer is looking for at least 1(+) years of experience as a Project Coordinator working for a local General Contractor or Developer Builder. Prior experience working on wood frame residential projects considered an asset. A technical background such as a diploma in construction, engineering, carpentry, or a related field considered an asset. An understanding of both preconstruction and construction execution phases is preferred but not essential. This person will likely be someone with strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
