À propos du rôle

Nous recherchons un Ingénieur Infrastructure expérimenté, possédant une solide expertise en Proxmox VE , Ceph et Linux (Ubuntu) , pour soutenir le déploiement d’une nouvelle infrastructure virtualisée.

Le consultant sera responsable de construire un cluster Proxmox à 3 nœuds , de mettre en place une solution de stockage hyper-convergée basée sur Ceph , de déployer des machines virtuelles et de produire l’ensemble de la documentation technique. Il s’agit d’un rôle opérationnel nécessitant autonomie, rigueur technique et fortes compétences en résolution de problèmes.

Responsabilités principales

• Installer et configurer Proxmox VE 9.1 sur 3 serveurs physiques et mettre en place un cluster hautement disponible
• Concevoir, configurer et valider l’architecture réseau du cluster (gestion, stockage, trafic VM)
• Déployer et configurer des machines virtuelles Ubuntu 24.04 dans l’environnement Proxmox
• Concevoir et implémenter un cluster Ceph hyper-convergé (OSD, MON, MDS, pools, règles CRUSH, etc.)
• Garantir les performances, la fiabilité et la redondance des données au sein du cluster
• Mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques en matière de sécurité , monitoring , sauvegarde et reprise après sinistre
• Produire une documentation technique complète (installation, configuration, exploitation, dépannage)
• Assurer un transfert de connaissances aux équipes internes (présentation de l’architecture et des procédures)

Profil recherché

Compétences & expérience requises

• Expérience avérée dans le déploiement et la gestion de clusters Proxmox VE en environnement de production
• Solide expérience pratique avec Ceph , idéalement en environnement hyper-convergé
• Excellentes compétences en administration Linux (idéalement Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04)
• Bonne maîtrise des concepts réseau (VLAN, bonding, routage, pare-feu) dans un environnement virtualisé / clusterisé
• Expérience en haute disponibilité, stockage distribué et optimisation des performances
• Fortes compétences en diagnostic et capacité à travailler de manière autonome
• Excellentes compétences rédactionnelles en anglais (documentation technique)

Atouts

• Expérience avec les outils d’Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform)
• Expérience avec des solutions de monitoring et d’alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
• Connaissance des outils de sauvegarde et stratégies DR en environnements virtualisés
• Maîtrise du français (atout)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Proxmox VE , Ceph , and Linux (Ubuntu) to support the deployment of a new virtualized infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for building a 3-node Proxmox cluster , implementing a hyper-converged Ceph storage solution , deploying virtual machines, and creating complete technical documentation. This is a hands-on engineering role that requires autonomy, technical rigor, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure Proxmox VE 9.1 on 3 physical servers and set up a highly available cluster
• Design, configure, and validate all cluster networking (management, storage, VM traffic)
• Deploy and configure Ubuntu 24.04 virtual machines in the Proxmox environment
• Design and implement a hyper-converged Ceph cluster (OSD, MON, MDS, pools, CRUSH rules, etc.)
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and data redundancy across the cluster
• Implement best practices for security , monitoring , backup , and disaster recovery
• Produce complete technical documentation (installation steps, configuration, operations, troubleshooting)
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical walkthroughs to internal teams

Profile Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience deploying and managing Proxmox VE clusters in production
• Strong hands-on experience with Ceph , ideally in hyper-converged infrastructures
• Solid Linux administration expertise (preferably Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, bonding, routing, firewalling)
• Experience with high-availability systems, distributed storage, and performance optimization
• Excellent troubleshooting, autonomy, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written communication skills in English, especially for documentation

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience implementing monitoring & alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
• Familiarity with backup tools and disaster recovery in virtualized systems
• French language skills (asset)
