• A leading multinational company in the financial technology space is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its Japan operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, global environment with exposure to both local and international accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and JGAAP
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Support tax filing and compliance activities in Japan
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to ensure accurate reporting
• Assist in audits and internal controls implementation

Qualifications

• Fluent in Japanese and English (verbal and written)
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, JGAAP, and Japanese tax regulations
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
