Job Description

A globally recognized creative agency is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Tokyo studio. This is a key role for a self-driven professional who can independently manage the full accounting cycle and deliver accurate financial reporting under IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Prepare and report financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Ensure accuracy in general ledger, AP/AR, and tax filings.
Liaise with external auditors and internal stakeholders across regions.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Qualifications:

Solid experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational or agency environment.
Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
Strong understanding of IFRS and Japanese accounting standards.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial operations.
Proficiency in accounting systems (such as SAP) and Excel.
