We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Head to lead our sales strategy and drive market penetration in collaboration with our retail partners. This role involves deepening store penetration by shop type with complementary product offerings managing an up-to-date retail product portfolio and introducing end-user engagement programs to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
You will initially work with a small team of one to two members to establish the retail business from the ground up. Over time you will take the lead in expanding and developing the team into a strong and high-performing sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Market Penetration:
Collaborate with retail partners to develop and implement strategies that increase market share and customer reach expanding market presence across various retail channels.
Deepening Store Penetration:
Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen store presence across various shop types ensuring a complementary product mix tailored to each retail environment.
Retail Product Offer Management:
Oversee the retail product portfolio ensuring it is current competitive and aligned with market trends and customer needs.
End User Engagement Programs:
Design and introduce programs aimed at engaging end users enhancing their shopping experience and building brand loyalty.
Communication and Leadership:
Lead coach and develop team members to build a strong and successful organization.
Collaborate closely with Sikas corporate and regional representatives to ensure alignment and drive strategic initiatives.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail sales management
Strong network and good understanding of the home center (DYI) business and its processes
Strong understanding of market dynamics and retail operations
Experience in multinational companies and or chemical industry a plus
Digital savviness and understanding of eCommerce
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
Proven track record of having successfully collaborated with internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a speedy manner
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both Japanese and English
Strong presentation writing and proofreading skills
Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities
