Senior Project Manager – Financial Crimes (Fraud Technology Initiatives)

Hybrid : 2 days/week in Toronto

Contract : 1 year (with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery for fraud-focused initiatives, applying strong PM discipline, structured methodology, and effective execution.
• Coordinate across technology and business teams to ensure seamless software deployment and operational readiness.
• Own initiatives related to customer information validation tools used in onboarding and account creation.
• Manage communications and reporting for senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity, consistency, and high visibility for critical programs.
• Partner closely with two existing PMs in the Fraud portfolio to align timelines, dependencies, and scope.
• Maintain comprehensive governance including status updates, RAID logs, documentation, and change control processes.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of Project Management experience, ideally in banking or financial services .
• Background in Fraud, Financial Crimes, or account-opening/onboarding processes strongly preferred.
• Proven track record delivering software implementation and technology deployment projects .
• Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated experience managing executive-level reporting and engagement.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with fraud detection platforms, KYC/KYB workflows , or customer information validation technologies.
• Experience coordinating large cross-functional business and IT teams on high-visibility initiatives.
