Location: Hybrid (Minimum 1 day/week in Orillia or Toronto ) Initial Contract Term: October 2025 – March 2026 (with a strong likelihood of a 6-month extension)

Are you a seasoned Penetration Testing Specialist ready for a high-impact contract role? We're looking for a Senior Security Specialist to join a critical team supporting a Public Sector client.

This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your deep offensive security skills to protect vital provincial systems and information resources.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading and executing penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews across provincial I&IT infrastructure.
• Conducting Threat Hunting and Red Team exercises to proactively identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
• Defining and assessing security requirements, ensuring the secure deployment of systems across a complex, high-sensitive environment.
• Writing comprehensive reports and recommendations for both executive and technical audiences.

Your Essential Experience (10+ Years Required):

• Conducting Penetration Tests
• Reviewing Source Code
• Writing Technical and Executive Reports

If you have a strong background in security architecture, application/network security testing, and are comfortable working within relevant public sector legislation (e.g., FIPPA), we encourage you to apply! Public Sector experience is a bonus.
