Position Summary

Armavel, LLC is offering an opportunity to be a part of a growing, forward-thinking team in an engaging, fast-paced environment. As a Sharepoint Developer you will work closely with a team of other Developers and IT professionals to create, troubleshoot and revamp software systems. You will design, code, install, and maintain functional programs and application. You will also perform unit and integration testing and evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features. This position requires an ACTIVE SECRET clearance (or higher) and will be an on-site role in the Norfolk, VA area.

Responsibilities

  • Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries.
  • Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
  • Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
  • Providing SharePoint support and end-user training.
  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
  • Maintaining network infrastructure, as well as managing encryption, security zones, and firewalls.
  • Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades.
  • Provide user and content manager training.
  • Create SharePoint user guides, “how-to”, FAQs, and technical papers.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • At least 4 years' experience as a SharePoint administrator.
  • SharePoint Online experience strongly desired.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems (O365) suite.
  • Knowledge of supporting tools, including: Power BI, Power Apps, PowerShell, ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
  • Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience developing secure code within a Government, Healthcare, or other Privacy Sensitive environment
  • Understanding of Cloud Systems Architecture
  • Experience with a risk management framework such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, HITRUST, FedRAMP, etc., is helpful
  • Federal Information Systems experience & knowledge of the security control assessment process is helpful.
  • Must be a US Citizen, with the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
