DESCRIPTION
The JP Marketplace Promotions team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the future of our seller-facing deals and promotions business. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that empower selling partners to grow their businesses through strategic discounting, while improving the overall customer experience.
As a Senior PM, you will own end-to-end strategy, product development, promotion fee strategy and execution for new promotional tools and features tailored for the Japan marketplace. You will collaborate closely with WW counterparts across product, engineering, finance, marketing, legal, and category teams to design and deliver scalable solutions that meet local seller and customer needs.
You will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities through data, proposing and launching innovative features, and influencing leadership through written and verbal communications. You’ll also help set the long-term vision and roadmap for 3P promotions in Japan, while aligning with global stakeholders to scale successful features across marketplaces.

Key job responsibilities
* Identify opportunities to improve the value of promotions for sellers and customers through data-driven insights
* Own roadmap definition, requirement gathering, and cross-functional execution of new feature launches
* Partner with WW teams to co-develop and scale global promotion strategies to the Japan marketplace
* Lead business reviews with local and global leadership teams to drive alignment and prioritization
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class seller experiences
* Identify product defects and work with the WW tech teams to drive timely resolution of bugs impacting promotion performance
* Develop and execute JP marketplace Promotion Fee strategy
* Own Promotions Customer Experience and Seller Experience

The 3P Promotions team is part of Amazon’s Seller Services organization. We help third-party sellers on Amazon Japan grow their business through high-impact promotional events and tools. We build campaigns that excite customers and boost product visibility, working closely with sellers, internal teams, and technology partners to deliver a best-in-class promotions experience. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
