Job Description

Appealing Points:

• Contribute to next-generation Client product features : Work on strategic software that powers flagship products such as Lavie, VersaPro, and Mate, including cutting-edge AI-driven solutions.
• End-to-end innovation experience from research to productization : Engage in technology research, PoC development, algorithm design, and the implementation of new solutions directly into consumer PC products.
• Highly collaborative environment with broad exposure : Collaborate with R&D teams, ODM partners, external software vendors, and cross-functional Client stakeholders, enhancing leadership and project management skills.

Annual Salary: 6 million and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing elemental technologies to realize new solutions for Client products (Lavie, VersaPro, Mate, etc.)
  (*You will be assigned to a team developing strategic software that will be a feature of Client products.)

• Research the latest technology.
• Plan and execute PoC to develop new technologies and algorithms.
• Share development status with relevant teams, other departments, and stakeholders as appropriate.
• Product development of new solutions to be installed in PC products (Reference example: Lavie AI Plus )

Job Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of programming skills (C++, C#, Python) *Experience in AI software development is best, but experience in various app development and a desire to learn AI are also eligible.
• Project Management skills (experience leading an app development project with 5+ people)
• Communication skill
• Negotiation skill

Preferred Qualifications:

• Generative AI software development, Database, Data analysis, Deep Learning, Large language model, Windows Driver, Mobile application development experience
• Leadership
• Ownership

Key Interaction with:

• Development Partners
• Stakeholders from each function of Client (planning, procurement, manufacturing, service & support, etc.)
• ODM (Original Design Manufacturer)
• External Software Vendors

Language Proficiency : Native level Japanese (N) and Business level English, Chinese conversation ability
