Job Description

Northern Gateway Public Schools is accepting applications for substitute teachers to teach in schools throughout the Division in all areas - Onoway Alberta Beach Sangudo Mayerthorpe Whitecourt Fox Creek and Valleyview.

NGPS teachers have access to:

Teacher requirements/assets:

• A student-centered approach to instruction and teacher-student relationships
• Effective organizational and classroom management skills
• An ability to design and implement differentiated instruction based on students needs
• An ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool
• A demonstrated commitment to collaborative practice and teamwork
• A commitment to continuous professional growth
• Must have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
