Job Description

Altis is excited to partner with a client located in Mississauga to source a bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist (FR/ENG) on a permanent basis. This role will support high-volume, full-cycle recruitment across multiple business units and will play a key part in shaping an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, brings strong sourcing capabilities, and is passionate about building meaningful talent pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume, end-to-end recruitment for assigned client groups, including conducting intake/strategy meetings, posting roles, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Oversee the offer and selection process, including offer discussions, reference checks, and background checks in collaboration with third-party vendors.
  • Handle approximately 20–25 active job requisitions at any time, from entry-level to mid-senior roles.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn, social media, and other innovative channels.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with educational institutions including colleges, universities, and professional associations.
  • Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and co-op/student hiring initiatives.
  • Support and promote the internal employee referral program.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform hiring strategies, workforce planning, and organizational design decisions.
  • Deliver ongoing updates on recruitment activities to Talent Acquisition leadership, HR teams, and senior management.
  • Ensure a positive, inclusive, and professional candidate and client experience.
  • Build and nurture industry talent pipelines, engaging with prospective candidates and maintaining long-term networks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Manager based on evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant recruitment experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent, direct experience recruiting entry to mid-level professionals in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong verbal and written proficiency in both English and French.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or a related industry is an asset.
  • Previous experience working with student Co-op programs is a big plus.
  • Proven success in direct sourcing and proactive talent engagement.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize a high workload across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Workday (or similar applicant tracking systems) and with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools.
  • Experience with web-based tracking systems and reporting tools; Workday experience is a strong asset.
  • A genuine passion for recruitment and interest in growing within the talent acquisition field.
