The “Train Integrated Management System (TCMS)” for rail vehicles is being developed as the brain that supports important transportation infrastructure in a low-carbon society, including conventional lines and Shinkansen, and new attempts such as driverless driving are being planned. In order to respond to these, it is necessary to increase the number of system designers, so we are recruiting system designers.

[Business content] Responsibilities

• You will define requirements based on requests from our railway operator clients and design the TCMS. You will be involved in system design work as a member of the system team.
• You will be involved in the project from the same perspective as the customer, sharing information necessary for project management and participating in meetings, sharing problems and considering solutions.
• This is an important position in which you will be responsible for creating and reviewing various system design documents in accordance with the V-model design process, where the system designer is responsible for the specifications required for verification.
• We review change requests and discuss and manage their response.
• Liaise with the Configuration Management team
• You will also be required to participate in meetings to share the status with the project management team.
• Software development and debugging is the responsibility of a separate development team

Railway systems have different requirements depending on a wide variety of conditions, such as vehicle type, organization, train type, and line section, and recently advanced control such as automatic driving is also required. By participating in TCMS system design work, you can acquire system design skills that can meet these complex and advanced requirements.
