Hiring Now: English Teacher in South Korea (Songdo)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline)
• Certification: TESOL/TEFL certification (minimum 100 hours; can be obtained online after applying)
• Experience: Prior teaching experience is an asset, but not required
• Eligible for E2 Visa:
• Be a native speaker or have studied from the junior high level (7th grade) and resided for at least 10 years or more in the country where English is the primary language.
• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from an English-language accredited university. A degree from a French-speaking university is not a sufficient qualification to teach English, as per visa requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Monthly salary: approx. 2.0–2.5 million KRW + free housing (Average cost of living for a single person is ≈ 1,000,000 KRW, excluding rent)
• Flight reimbursement (one way ticket to be reimbursed at contract start)
• Comprehensive benefits : healthcare, paid vacation, settlement allowance

• Severance Pay : Equivalent to one month’s salary upon successful contract completion.
