who and what are we looking for ?

To be able to provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service for the nursing teams in the theatre and recovery departments of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow.

The admin assistant must have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff including nursing, surgeons, anaesthetists, coordinators, and administrators. Awareness of data protection and patient confidentiality are essential.

The post holder must have excellent interpersonal skills to demonstrate an all-round professional attitude, and have the ability to work independently whilst being part of a larger team and be able to use their initiative.

This is a 37 hour post, worked Monday to Friday, shift pattern negotiable.
