Job Description:

 

• Research and study on water supply and sewerage policies, and analysis and structuring of statistical and institutional data
• System design for the social implementation of small-scale decentralized water circulation systems, quantitative simulation for scheme construction and policy consideration, and implementation of policy recommendations
• Model construction and predictive simulation (including management) using programming languages and GIS (geographic information systems)
• Policy collaboration, negotiation, and consensus building with government agencies, academics, think tanks, consulting companies, etc. 
• Planning and project management for internal and external projects to promote the above

Job Qualification:

• Practical experience in policy planning, system design, and research in the infrastructure and public policy fields
• Practical experience in government agencies, local governments, think tanks, consulting firms, research institutes, etc.
• Skills and practical experience in quantitative data analysis and simulation

Preferred Skills

• Specialized knowledge and practical experience in water supply and sewerage policy
• Specialized knowledge and practical experience in local government management, urban planning, and local finance
• Experience in planning and promoting policy collaboration projects with government agencies and companies
• Experience in calculations and simulations using programming languages such as Python, R, and C++
• Practical experience in analyzing spatial data and policy simulations using GIS

Japanese Language Skills : Native level Japanese and English not required
