Truck Operator - Underground

Location : Northern Ontario, Canada

Roster : 14 days on / 14 days off (days and nights)

The Role

We are seeking skilled Truck Operators to join an underground mining team at a leading operation in Northern Ontario. This role is responsible for hauling and dumping ore and waste material from development and production sources while ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate underground haul trucks to transport ore and waste.
• Dump material in designated areas as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain communication with the team via radio and follow instructions clearly.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of haul trucks.
• Assist with other underground services and tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and company policies.

What You Bring

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Underground Common Core with at least 2 years' experience as a haul truck operator preferred.
• Experience operating CAT 30-tonne trucks and 45-tonne Sandvik push-trucks considered an asset.
• Strong focus on safety with proven ability to work safely and encourage safe practices in others.
• Good radio etiquette and clear communication skills.
• Initiative, flexibility, and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks.
• Physically fit and capable of working in underground conditions, including climbing ladders, accessing equipment, and performing both fine and heavy manual tasks.
