Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling , Psychology , Education , or a related field
  • A valid teaching or counselling qualification (e.g., PGCE, State License, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Career Counselor or in a related counselling role
  • Strong knowledge of career pathways, university admission processes, and the global job market
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to guide students in exploring career options and making informed decisions about their futures

Key Responsibilities for the Career Counselor:

  1. Guide Career Exploration : Help students explore potential career paths based on their interests, strengths, and aspirations while providing personalized guidance and support.
  2. College and University Counseling : Advise students on university application processes, scholarships, and career opportunities, both locally and internationally.
  3. Develop Career Programs : Create and organize career development workshops, seminars, and events to inform students about career trends and opportunities.
  4. One-on-One Counseling : Provide individual counselling sessions to students, offering guidance on career decisions, internships, job placements, and more.
  5. Parental Communication : Keep parents informed about their child’s career development and offer guidance to help them support their child’s aspirations.
