Job Description

At Trane TechnologiesTM and through our businesses including Trane® and Thermo King® , we create innovative climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation that challenge what’s possible for a sustainable world. We're a team that dares to look at the world's challenges and see impactful possibilities. We believe in a better future when we uplift others and enable our people to thrive at work and at home. We boldly go.

Job Summary:
We’re building a new Product Commercialization Department and we’re looking for an organized, proactive, and collaborative Commercialization Associate to help make it run smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career (around 2–4 years of experience) with a background in product marketing and project coordination. You’ll help manage and drive our cross-functional commercialization process for new product launches - ensuring the right people are aligned, timelines are met, and no detail falls through the cracks.

You’ll work across the company (including product, engineering, legal, marketing, sales, customer support, and more) to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously. This role could be a future stepping stone to strategic product marketing, program operations, or cross-functional product delivery, based on your strengths and interests.

What’s in it for you:

Be a part of our mission! As a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient environments, it’s our responsibility to put the planet first. For us at Trane Technologies, sustainability is not just how we do business—it is our business. Do you dare to look at the world's challenges and see impactful possibilities? Do you want to contribute to making a better future? If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what’s possible for a sustainable world.

Thrive at work and at home:

  • Benefits kick in on DAY ONE for you and your family, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs that include generous incentives – WE DARE TO CARE!

  • Family building benefits include fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance.

  • 401K match up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to 8% company contribution.

  • Paid time off, including in support of volunteer and parental leave needs.

  • Educational and training opportunities through company programs along with tuition assistance and student debt support.

Where is the work:

Remote within geography:

This position has been designated as Remote and work will be performed near our Montreal offices.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and track the end-to-end commercialization process for new product launches using a cross-functional checklist that spans teams like product, legal, marketing, sales, deployment, and customer success.

  • Schedule and lead meetings with stakeholders across departments to drive clarity, accountability, and progress.

  • Monitor progress on checklist items, flag blockers, and escalate when needed to ensure smooth execution.

  • Maintain project documentation and status updates in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Communicate timelines and expectations clearly across teams, keeping everyone aligned and on task.

  • Work closely with the Senior Product Commercialization Manager to evolve and improve commercialization processes and tools.

  • Support product marketing initiatives as time allows — such as drafting messaging, coordinating launch materials, or assisting in sales tool creation — with opportunities to grow this responsibility over time.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or 5+ years relevant work experience in lieu of degree)
  • 2–4 years of experience in a product marketing, program coordination, or operational role, ideally within a tech or SaaS company
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident coordinating with diverse teams.
  • Able to identify when progress stalls and escalate appropriately to keep things moving.
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excited to grow in a fast-moving, collaborative environment with flexibility in career path.
  • Exposure to the product development or go-to-market lifecycle, particularly in SaaS or technology environments
  • Familiarity with project or task management tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Jira, Monday.com)
  • Experience supporting product launches, sales enablement, or internal stakeholder alignment

Passion for sustainability, energy efficiency, or climate tech is a plus
