Director Advanced Insurance Case Support (TruStone)

What you’ll be working on

• Provide case-specific support for advisors working on complex estate planning opportunities with clients
• Build the knowledge and capabilities of TruStone’s advisors in the area of tax and estate planning, in particular as it pertains to business owners, professionals and high net worth individuals
• Develop and deliver cutting-edge written content, presentations, and webinars focused on tax and estate planning opportunities for delivery to advisors
• Maintain and apply current expertise on provincial and federal tax legislation, relevant case law, accounting standards, and regulatory developments that impact complex life insurance planning
• Participate in select client-facing meetings alongside advisors to provide guidance and expertise in complex tax and estate planning cases, enhancing advisor credibility and helping to solidify complex planning recommendations
• Create and curate internal resources and marketing materials that articulate TruStone Financial’s expertise in advanced insurance planning

What we’re looking for you to have

• Completion of a University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Finance, Law, or Accounting) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in the life insurance industry, with a substantial focus on advanced sales, or business development within the High Net Worth market segment
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is required
• Life Insurance License, or a minimum of the LLQP completed
• Exceptional attention to detail/accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Enjoy working in a collaborative work environment
• CLU designation is an asset
• Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting membership is an asset
