Job Title : GitHub Lead

Location : Canada

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Workflows.

• Implement automated checks, security scans, and testing frameworks for robust code quality.

• Configure and manage GitHub environments, permissions, and compliance settings.

• Integrate and orchestrate DBT Core using Astronomer (Managed Airflow) and Cosmos framework.

• Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to ensure seamless automation and delivery.

• Continuously optimize pipeline performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert-level knowledge of GitHub: Actions, Workflows, Security, Automated Checks, Code Review Scans.

• Proven experience in building complex CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and compliance checks.

• Strong understanding of DBT Core: deployment, troubleshooting, and best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Astronomer.

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker).

• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or TypeScript).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
