Responsibilities include:

Installation

• install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and service plumbing for residential and/or commercial building clients.
• Work with and interpret blueprints, schematics and other technical documents. Install electrical components and wiring.
• Test, calibrate and ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Repair

• Perform routine maintenance on various HVAC equipment, such as chillers, boilers, air handling units and refrigeration systems. Clean, inspect, lubricate and check for wear and tear. Perform warranty services.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and control system issues. Identify and resolve problems using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
• Adjust system settings, calibrate controls and optimize airflow to improve energy efficiency and comfort.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with clients about system performance, maintenance needs and repair recommendations.
• Collaborate and work with team members, other trades, consultants and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Maintain and submit accurate records of all work performed, including service dates, parts used and repairs made.

Be committed to building and maintaining an up to date knowledge of the latest advancements and best practices in HVAC technology.

The successful applicant will bring:

• Journeyperson certificate preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC in residential/commercial settings.
• Experience working on job sites.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Detail oriented with excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of safety regulations.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls and automation.
• Motivated team player, customer service driven and have a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate technical information clearly to clients and colleagues.

Mon-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours/week). Overtime as required to meet project needs.

Travel: To job sites in Regina, and south Sask; not typically overnight. (Sometimes work outside of Regina and in Alberta and Manitoba).
