Draft, review, and file legal documents, legal research, travel to visit detained clients, court hearings. Experience with Removal/deportation Defense, Asylum, U Visas and Family based petitions, DACA, Permanent Residencies, Naturalization and Consular Processing, Cancellation of Removal, FOIA's, Bond Packets, Asylum Applications, Adjustment of Status Forms, Motions. Requirements: The ideal candidate must be able to manage complex tasks efficiently; prioritize work load in extremely time-sensitive field of law; meet strict deadlines; be extremely detail oriented and have the ability to edit carefully; provide outstanding service to the families we serve; be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced changing environment; organized; self-motivated with strong initiative; have a positive attitude; have a professional demeanor in appearance and manner. An ideal candidate will be energetic, quick learner, self-starter, knowledge of immigration law (family and deportation defense).
